Over the last 25 years in particular, there has been a lot of imported sandstone used in patios, pathways and courtyards around private houses, hotels, national monuments etc in Ireland 
Due to our wet , damp, humid climate, we tend to get a lot of fungi forming thick layers on the surface of the sandstone paving stone or flagstones . 

How can we remove this ?

Dampen the surface of the sandstone patio with a rose on the end of a watering can or hose. 
Allow 24 hours for the Surface Reviver / Cleaner to react with the organic and microbiological soiling on the sandstone flagstones. 
Rinse with water only and brush off. 

FAQs

High performance cleaner which removes organic and microbiological soiling from porous natural stone like sandstone. The surfaces can then be simply rinsed with water without using a pressure washer. 
Does not contain potassium hydroxide, hydrochloric or phosphoric acid, quaternary ammonium or solvents.

Does not alter the colour of the paving stone. 

How to use ? 

Always test a small area before proceeding to ensure finished result is acceptable. 

Shake the container well before use. Do not dilute or mix with other products. If there is a thick layer of fungi or moss, firstly use a broom to brush off as much as possible before applying. 

Apply in dry weather on a damp surface.

leave ideally over night ( which is the preferred method ) or at least for a minimum of 60 minutes. Allow for more time in cold weather (<10c). Rinse with water / jet wash and use a broom to brush away. Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with soapy water. 

Recommendation’s : 

Wear Protective gloves and glasses, and appropriate clothing whilst using the product. 
Do not mix with acids or other cleaning products, may release dangerous gases ( chlorine ).

Do not apply on metallic or impermeable materials. 
Do not allow product to come into contact with plants, shrubs and air temp is <5C & 30C. 
Never proceed without carrying out a test patch to ensure surface compatibility. Keep in dry place between 5C and 30C in the original container.
