The combined 50mm or 2 inches of Ailesbury Golden Holding Dust and Ailesbury Golden 10mm Driveway Chippings are compacted using a roller or whacker plate. How To Apply ? Simply follow our 3 step process. Step 1 : Lift the bulk bags with a teleporter with forks that drive into the lifting hoops on the top of the large white bulk bags . First lift a bulk bag of Ailesbury Golden Holding Dust and slice the bottom of the bulk bag with a Stanley knife. The contents will fall onto the ground, spread the holding dust using a rake 25mm deep over an area of 20 m2 or 200 square feet. Step 2 : Then lift a bulk bag of Ailesbury Golden 10mm Driveway Chippings over the area spread with the holding dust and again, slice the bottom of the bulk bag and spread the contents 25mm with a rake over the holding dust again covering an area of approximately 20m2 or 200 square feet. Keep repeating these 2 steps until the 400m2 are covered. Step 3 : Compact the area with a hired roller or heavy duty whacker plate.
